Basic Information

I am interested in advancing surgical procedures through machine learning and computer vision. I hold a master’s degree in Robotics, Cognition, Intelligence from the Technical University of Munich with a background in reinforcement learning, image analysis, and robotics. Before joining the Computer Vision and Learning Group (VLG) I have been working as a Graduate Scholar at the Johns Hopkins University on NeRF-based methods for scene reconstruction in surgeries and shape estimation of surgical continuum manipulators. At VLG, I am working together with Prof. Siyu Tang on Semantic Scene Understanding to advance surgical training.
